History & Who We Are
Queen Thorne Landscapes was created in January 2000, from the combination of Sherborne Turf and the present manager, a local skilled landscaper and horticulturist. Since the formation of Queen Thorne, we have been creating beautiful landscapes and gardens within Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire, using our naturally beautiful surroundings for inspiration to our projects. We have evolved with highly experienced and talented landscapers to become a trusted member of the landscaping community, providing excellent services to the public and commercial sector.
We treat every garden, client and project as individual, and assess the requirements to form the best results and most practical solutions possible. Our attention to detail will create a timeless outside area which will last, develop and flourish well into the future.
Being a sister company of Sherborne Turf it is only natural that we have skills in creating, maintaining and managing beautiful lawns. We have invested in specialist machinery to be able to develop, level, rake and lay lawns from small ornamental lawns to football pitches. We can in fact design, install and maintain any form of green space to almost any scale.
Our staff have a wide breadth of skills and experience and each team will be tailored to each task to ensure every element of the garden is built in the best and most attractive way. Our staff all bring skills and artistic talent with them when they join Queen Thorne, we develop their skills through training and the varied experiences of developing a huge range of different gardens and features.
